Beastie Boys - Car Thief (Fear & Loathing Remix)
Mysterio extracted excerpts from the film "The Limey" to start off this reindition of the Beastie Boys song "Car Thief". He also took quotes from Johnny Depp in the film "Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas" to compliment the lyrics. Guitars, bass and organs breathe new life to showcase the drug infused lyrics of the three emcees.

Mobb Deep - Shook Ones Part Six
Mysterio teamed up with the infamous Mobb to deliver part six of the Shook Ones series. James Gandolfini reprised his role from "True Romance" to detail what it is like to be a killer. Dense pianos, dark clavs and deep bass smother the deadly drum track while Havoc and Prodigy spit their classic verses.

Strictly Beats: Dr. Dre - The Formula
Dr. Dre came up with this track for the D.O.C. using Marvin Gaye's classic song "Inner City Blues" as the back bone. The 808 kicks with ease as Dre sprinkles some synth type flutes for the chorus. Will always remain one of my top favorites by him during his early days of production.

Strictly Beats: DJ Quik - Just Like Compton

DJ Quik is definitely one of the most slept on producers in the game. At least in the game of yesteryear. I have to admit I have not kept consistent with his current output but this joint right here definitely made me a fan of the music he created throughout the nineties and at the turn of the century. This track filled with sleigh bells and wah wah guitars brings me back straight to the summer of 1992.
