Strictly Beats: The Roots - Concerto of the Desperado (Instrumental)
This is the track that sucked me in to becoming a Roots fan. Black Thought's lyrics are vicious and the beat is just as deadly to match. A great combo but this one is just the music.

Dark Narc
The styles of seventies soundtrack scores inspired Mysterio to tool up and track his own take on the genre. Focused heavily on percussion he came back and sprinkled xylophones, dark pianos and two different bass instruments and then threw on top some choice dialogue from the movies "Narc", "The Dark Knight" and "Carlito's Way".

Soft Suckas
A gem from back in the days of Dammon. Mysterio crafted this jazz and funk infused track with a vocal sample from Philly bred Steady B.

Strictly Beats:DJ Premier - Suspended In Time
DJ Premier dug in the crates and scooped up Michael Vinier's Incredible Bongo Band for this Group Home song made back in the mid nineties. I wouldn't find the original sample until years later much less the instrumental for this song. However, it still gets me to this day. The birds in the background buried in the sample remind me of rainy days in Coney Island on the pier for some reason.
Youmail Song
People like to call Moosie Moe. He has youmail and it saves their messages as mp3's. Can you hear yourself?

Cern (Dub Mix)
Drums were removed and the tempo was slowed down to smooth out this track making it very mellow compared to the original.

Dental
Mysterio must have taken a trip to the dentist when he designed this danceable uptempo track. The song is filled with fast drums and congas with various synths bouncing off of both speakers. Buried underneath is a message from John Lennon which when played backwards says...

Spirals
Straight from the Soundwall Sessions of 1999 comes this lo-fi Mysterio production. Guitars inspired by RZA's "Sunshower" glide over the airy drum track filled with a light bass, vocal echo and various effects.

Strictly Beats: Madvillain - All Caps
This album still blows me away to this day. A throwback to the days of "Paul's Boutique" where samples were layered like a seven layer burrito. Delicious to the ears. Madlib crafts a terrific track here which remains one of my favorites from the record.

Bird of Prey
An apperance by the late, great and tripped out Jim Morrison is found on this spaced out groove Mysterio concocted. A nod to the Bird Of Prey.
Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth - Appreciate (Analog Remix)
The sounds of the groups Opus and Steppenwolf combined with Ramsey Lewis, Wes Montgomery and Cal Tjader were blended together by Mysterio and spread out several buttery beats. Meanwhile C.L. Smooth stepped up and dropped his thoughtful rhymes to go along with the masterful melodies manufactured by Mysterio including DJ cuts and sound effects.

Celestial Sentinels Instrumental by Claw
This is the instrumental created by Claw for the Universal Sounds song "Celestial Sentinels". Robot sounds. Hard gritty drums. Dope. Nuff Said.
MF Doom - Change The Beat (Bender Mix)
The robots took over on this one and programmed some digital funk for MF Doom. Wild bleeps and bloops blend in with the chunky drum track as Doom spits some dense rhymes accentuated by sound effects and DJ cuts crafted by Mysterio. Cheech and Chong even make an appearance in Mysterio's Musical Madness Masterpiece.
