Nas - It Ain't Hard To Tell (80's Throwback Mix)
Mysterio was inspired by music from yesteryear - the 80's decade to be exact. The lyrical stylings of Nas matched perfectly with the musical landscape filled with synths, bass, pianos and percussion. Vocal snippets from KRS-One and Dilated Peoples are cut in by Mysterio as he provides a new chorus for the classic song.

Genuine Fricassee
Woody Woodpecker was always one of Mysterio's favorite cartoon characters when he was growing up. Mischievous and up to no good with that great maniacal laugh!
The snare matches the cackles as the funky bass lines meld with the happy "old-timey" pianos. This is something for the children and the kids at heart.

Menace Crook
This tranquil track set the backbone for the song created by Moosie Moe & T-Booth. Samples were pulled from the jazz-fusion crates of the late sixties and early seventies. Over a crackling drum kit flutes, horns, vibes, windwood instruments fill the structure of the song pulled together by Mysterio.

Rakim - Saga Begins (Analog Remix)
Mysterio went bare bones with this one and dusted off vinyl from Ramsey Lewis, Procol Harum, Osibisa and Ron Carter to create this analog song for Rakim. Sound effects and cuts from the records were infused into the melodic piano laden track as the 18th Letter spit his tight verses.

Sexy Beast Headquarters
Mysterio joined the characters of "Sexy Beast" to compose this movie music masterpiece. It was a crowded studio but all in all the session went well with jokes all around about what really happened when they made the classic film. Don Logan actually ended up being a real cut up even though when he entered the studio at first everybody stopped talking. Then he broke out and just laughed and said, "Gotcha!".
Gary "Gal" Dove on Drums
Don Logan on Piano and Organ and Thin Whistle
Teddy Bass on Roundback Guitar
DeeDee on Lead and Stratocaster Guitars
Aitch & Mysterio on Euro, African and Asian Percussion
Jackie on AMG Wurlitzer
Enrique on Vibraphone and Harp
Ras Kass - On Earth As it Is... (Altered States Remix)
Mysterio takes the classic verses from Ras Kass and blesses them with this proper religiously inspired track. A quote by William Hurt from "Altered States" sets the tone for this song which ponders religion vs. spirituality.
Asian percussion coincides with a sixties style rock organ and bass with a church choir singing in the background. Kick cuts hit at the right points with sound effects complimenting the lyricism and even a guest spot from Jule's in Pulp Fiction which you can hear if you listen close enough.

Mallrat Madness
A fun track with two sets of wild drums complimenting the whacked out dialogue from the film "Mallrats". A silly organ, wobbly bass and smirky guitars round out the song created by Mysterio.

Mos Def - Next Universe (Digital Remix)
Mysterio dropped some diverse drum programming for this remix of Mos Def's classic song "Next Universe". Vocal chops from Big Daddy Kane ride the chorus as Mysterio provides cuts, keys and bass to push along the rapid fire rhymes by Mos.

Pharcyde - Runnin' Away (80's Love Theme)
A throwback to 80's style synths and big drum beats. Mysterio decided to take a trip back in time and scooped up the Pharcyde to complete this rendition of their classic song.
